If you live in an area of Central Texas that’s a bit more prone to humidity, are surrounded by a lot of trees, have crop fields close by, or have mildew problems, you might need cleaning every six months.
How long does the cleaning process typically take?
This depends on the size of your house and the level of cleaning needed. A typical single-story home can take 2-4 hours.
What methods do you use to clean the exterior of a house?
We use two types of cleaning on residential properties.
Soft washing: This is a technique we apply to most buildings and homes. It uses a low-pressure stream with special cleaning solutions. It's gentler but very effective and ideal for most sidings and roofs.
Pressure washing: This technique is mostly used on surfaces and utilizes a high-pressure stream for tougher jobs. It's great for concrete, patios, and driveways, but it can damage siding if not done properly.
Do I need to be home while my home's exterior is being cleaned?
No, you don't necessarily need to be home. Just make sure our team of professionals has clear access to any parts of your property we will be cleaning. This includes removing any vehicles from the driveway and clearing any furniture or other décor from patios, porches, etc. If our team is needing access to your backyard, we ask that you ensure any pets are safely put away while we are on site.
Will pressure washing damage my siding or roof?
Yes, if not done properly applying too much pressure while washing your home’s exterior can cause damage. This is why Waco Hydro Wash uses a safe and effective soft washing system to clean residential exteriors such as siding, etc.
